From an early age, Floyd loved working with machines. Growing up on a farm, he was always working with different equipment, and it was a natural fit for him to venture into trades such as metal fabrication, welding, and steel fabrication while in high school. Today, Floyd is a Millwright working on robots that are helping build the cars of our future.<\/p>\n

I also found the opportunity to work on cutting-edge equipment and robots intriguing and exciting.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text][\/vc_column_text][\/toggle][toggle color=”Accent-Color” heading_tag=”default” heading_tag_functionality=”default” title=”What aspect of your role do you appreciate the most?”][vc_column_text text_direction=”default”]With constantly evolving technology and equipment, there is never a dull moment. I appreciate the opportunity to continually learn and grow when breakdowns and troubleshooting situations arise.<\/p>\n

At TMMC, you have the opportunity to think outside of the box. If you\u2019re up for a challenging board game, like an escape room, that\u2019s kind of what it\u2019s like at TMMC on a daily basis.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text][\/vc_column_text][\/toggle][toggle color=”Accent-Color” heading_tag=”default” heading_tag_functionality=”default” title=”What motivates you in your job?”][vc_column_text text_direction=”default”]Witnessing the career progression of former floor workers who are now Team Leaders, Group Leaders, team leaders, or a Manager inspires me. Their stories push me to learn and develop, knowing I can be a role model to new Team Members someday.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m also motivated by the thrill of the challenge. This allows you to specialize in specific areas or broaden your skill set by working with robots, welding, and more. Management takes the time to thank and acknowledge team members for their contributions. Knowing that my efforts are appreciated and noticed gives me a sense of pride and accomplishment.<\/p>\n

We also have comradery across the team.
